Good Performance ...and Great Value!

As a follow-up to my original review after receiving this motor, I'll have to say that it performs as well as it looks. It spins the 550mm blades on my old flybar head Outrage 550 plenty fast enough for lazy circuit flying ...and sips electrons to boot. With my low headspeeds (estimated at 1600-1700 rpm) I am getting easy 10 minute flights on a pair of 4500 mAh 3S batteries (run in series for 6S) with a consistent 3.7 volts per cell indicated after my flights.

To sum-up: In my opinion, this is a great little motor to power most all 500 sized birds ...and also some 550 sized birds - as long as you are not flying aggressively! I am am very pleased with the power of this little motor and the economy it offers.

Great value!

This is a nice looking and attractively packaged motor. Will be using it in a rebuild of an old Outrage 550 model that I retired and cannibalized last year. I am building this bird back for just slow, easy, circuit flying (no 3D flying since replacement parts for this model are now extinct) and this motor may just be a perfect fit. Will definitely keep an eye on the Leopard line of motors for future builds.
