Shipping policy

Unlike other online stores, we don't believe in making up for our low prices by gouging customers on high shipping prices. That's why all orders within the United States ship via your choice of UPS Ground, FedEx, or the U.S. Postal Service at affordable live carrier rates. All orders over $100 within Colorado ship at no charge. Our continual goal and commitment to our customers is to offer great pricing on top quality RC hobby products.

USPS Ground Advantage small parcel rates starting as low as $4.75! 

Most orders take 1-2 business days to ship due to fluctuating order volume. We are a small shop, but you can trust we work hard to process all orders in a timely and efficient manner.

Please note: delivery times shown during checkout are estimations only and not guaranteed. All shipments are subject to delays by the carrier which are out of our control.

Colorado/local orders:  FREE standard shipping on orders over $100 with delivery addresses within Colorado. One day delivery in many cases. If you live locally and would prefer to pick up your order, select local pickup during checkout and we will email you when it is ready for collection.

OVERNIGHT or Guaranteed Delivery: We offer UPS overnight and FedEx overnight shipping services via our website. 

Please note: Orders containing lithium batteries cannot be sent 2 day air or overnight and will be shipped only via ground transportation methods to comply with DOT regulation. We recommend UPS Ground vs USPS ground advantage to avoid delays. 

INTERNATIONAL Shipping: We do not offer international shipping through our website. However, you are welcome to email us and we will do our best to accommodate international order requests by providing you with a shipping quote.

Optional shipping protection: We offer optional shipping protection during checkout. From the cart page, simply select checkout with protection. The cost of coverage depends on the total value of the order. Shipping protection covers loss, damage, or theft during transit, up to delivery. It does not cover items stolen after delivery (i.e. porch piracy) or damage caused after delivery (a weather event, etc). If you decline the shipping protection, we are not responsible for damage, theft, or loss caused during transit. We suggest having all shipments delivered to a locking mailbox or receptacle as Altitude Hobbies is not responsible for lost or stolen packages in situations where tracking shows the item was delivered. If you are unable to have the item delivered to a locking receptable or are going to be out of town, simply type a note in the order comments box during checkout requesting signature confirmation and we would be happy to add this service at no charge. Drone purchases will be shipped signature required by default.

BACKORDERS: Unfortunately, we cannot feasibly keep all items in stock at all times due to demand or shipment delays from overseas manufacturers. At times, certain items will be out of stock; however, we receive shipments from suppliers on a regular basis so that most items are back in stock within 1-2 weeks or less. The stock status of each item is listed on the product page. In some rare cases, an item may show as in stock but actually be unavailable due to an error in inventory. If this happens, we will contact you right away and make every effort to get the item restocked quickly or offer a refund/substitution for a similar item.
