Refund policy
Please read the following return policy carefully before returning merchandise to us:
- We offer no-hassle returns within 30 days from the date of delivery as long as the item(s) are in the original packaging, are unaltered, and are in resalable condition.* (Some exclusions apply, see below for details).
- Any items that have missing/damaged packaging but are unused are accepted for return or exchange only after inspection and may be subject to a 20% restocking fee.
- All items for return must be mailed to us within 14 days of RMA authorization. Original shipping charges are non-refundable except in cases of faulty or defective merchandise.
- Please write your original order number on the box.
- You are responsible for the cost of return shipping unless the return is due to our error such as shipping you the incorrect product or a defective product. After you submit an RMA request, we will email you instructions for returning the item(s).
- If a return is due to our error in processing or the item is defective, we will pay the return shipping cost by emailing you a pre-paid shipping label.
*All non-faulty Autel, DJI, Teledyne FLIR, Anzu Robotics, CZI, and JZ drone products can only be returned if they are 100% unopened and unused. We will not accept for return any products of these brands which have the protective wrapping or warranty tape broken/removed from any component, have been charged, or flown. We cannot sell these items secondhand. Any faulty product of these brands listed must be sent directly to the manufacturer for warranty repair/replacement.
How to submit an RMA request:
- To submit an RMA request, log in to our website using the email address used to make the original order. Our system uses a password-less login. It will email you a one-time passcode in order to access your account. You can click here to log in to your account.
- Once logged in, you will be able to view your order history and request a return for the specific purchase.
- When submitting an RMA request, please include comments regarding the reason for return.
- If you would prefer us to send you a pre-paid label rather than supplying your own, please request this in the RMA comments section and we will email you a label. The cost of postage will be deducted from your final refund amount.

Warranty:
If you experience an issue with one of our products (such as a faulty electronic item) upon receiving your order, we will make certain to resolve the situation quickly, either by replacing the item or issuing a refund* (some brand exclusions apply, see below for details). Eligible items (those which the manufacturer does not handle warranty claims themselves) must be returned to us and will be evaluated for cause of failure. Any items determined to have failed due to misuse will not be replaced or refunded. Return shipping cost for items eligible for warranty replacement is covered by us. Altitude Hobbies is not responsible for any damages or injury caused by a faulty item or failure due to misuse or negligence by the customer. Below are general warranty periods for some common brands we stock. For any brands not listed, please contact us prior to submitting your return request.
- T-Motor: 1 year from date of purchase
- Leopard Hobby: 240 days from date of purchase
- Suppo: 6 months from date of purchase
- ZTW: 6 months from date of purchase
- DYS: 6 months from date of purchase
- Roaring Top: 6 months from date of purchase
- EMAX: 6 months from date of purchase
*Certain brands we sell have warranty processes that are handled by the manufacturer and cannot be serviced or replaced by us. These companies require the end user to contact them directly regarding warranty issues. See below for details:
