Description

Features:

  • Synchronous Rectification Technology with multiple advantages
  • The Platinum V5 Series features a new double-sided heat sink with additional "side windows" for better cooling.
  • Multiple protections, Extra Safety: It has multiple protection functions, to effectively prolonging the lifespan of the ESC.
  • Built-in 12V Switch BEC for greater output capability:  With an instantaneous high current and a built-in 12V programmable BEC, the maximum output voltage is 12V (adjustable from 5-12V) and the maximum output current is up to 35A. The high-power BEC features an anti-reverse circuit, allowing it to be used in parallel with external batteries, providing double protection.
  • Constant Speed Performance Upgrade, Ultimate Flight Experience; The 32-bit processor combined with the RPM accuracy algorithm makes the ESC more powerful and consistent, maximizing RPM accuracy to enhance overall performance. Compared with the previous ESC, the RPM accuracy algorithm significantly improves power and consistency. The adjustable constant speed sensitivity allows every pilot to easily find a setting that suits their flying style.

I bought this for a am670 didn’t have any luck with it. Bec and throttle work great until you go over half throttle. Then a ten light goes on and throttle cuts out. Found out the hard way and crashed my extreme flight airframe. So this esc must have some protection issue I’m not familiar with. Checked for low voltage cutoff and set the parameters as high as it allows you and still got the same results. So it’s not low voltage cutoff. Went with the am116 and gave this away to a friend who loves hobbywing. Long story short he trashed the 150$ esc.

Awesome ESC, doesn’t break a sweat with a AM670 swinging a 18x8 prop and delivers awesome power - instantly! Marked it 4 stars cause you can only program it with the programming card, no radio capability- at least I didn’t see anything in the instructions about it but the ESC itself is outstanding!
