Leopard LC-series brushless motors feature an extended shaft which protrudes out the rear of the motor. This allows the user flexible mounting options without having to disassemble the motor to reverse the shaft. The user can either (1) mount the motor in a traditional manner against the front of a firewall and use the included bolt-on prop adapter, or (2) mount it against the rear of the firewall with the shaft extending forward. This mounting option is most common in sailplanes or racer-style models and requires you to use a collet-style adapter available separately or sometimes included with your model.

LC4250-800.
An excellent motor. Very well made. With a 4S battery, it delivers 810 watts with an APC 13x6.5E propeller and 880 watts with an APC 13x8E propeller. It flies my 2700-gram Edge through all maneuvers with ease.
I have installed the motor on a old Sig LT-40 it weigh in at 7lb the motor is putting out 800 watts wit 12x6 prop, it flys great very impressed with the motor.

I choose the proper Leopard motor for each plane that I scratch build. These motors have lots of power and are really well made. I've been using them for several years and haven't ever had any problems.

Excellent motors and no problems at this time
Flying a 40 year old Nobler that once had .46 OS and tune pipe now the 4250 480kv turning 12,6 prop with 6S 3300ah pack. Get 11 to 12 min flights and good climb on 6 to 7 lb plane. Mild arobatics. Sustain 35 to 40 deg climb. Maybe 60 to 70 mph? Very happy with the motor. If you want more speed opt for 600 to 700kv and smaller prop. Plan to get another Leopard motor. Got a 25 yr old Enforcer plan to put a 4260 380kv in turning 13 or 14 in prop.
Flew my new Leopard 4250-960 for the first time this morning. Absolutely love it. It’s performance is spectacular. Bang for the buck is spectacular. Thank you.
