Description

Expertly designed and precisely constructed using the most advanced CNC components, Leopard Brushless Motors adhere to the highest and strictest quality standards. Leopard Power Model Co. has over 15 years experience manufacturing high quality precision hardware, and is focused on ensuring the consistency of their products. Constructed from beautifully anodized aluminum alloy and top-quality components, Leopard motors deliver optimum performance, quality, and reliability at a price much less than many other premium motor brands on the market today.

Leopard LC-series brushless motors feature an extended shaft which protrudes out the rear of the motor. This allows the user flexible mounting options without having to disassemble the motor to reverse the shaft. The user can either (1) mount the motor in a traditional manner against the front of a firewall and use the included bolt-on prop adapter, or (2) mount it against the rear of the firewall with the shaft extending forward. This mounting option is most common in sailplanes or racer-style models and requires you to use a collet-style adapter available separately or sometimes included with your model.

Features:

● Lightweight design uses reinforced materials to ensure high-speed operation under constant conditions
● High efficiency w/ low running temperatures
● Built from top-quality materials with premium imported bearings
● Dynamic balancing accuracy of at least 99%, greatly improving the efficiency of the motor.
● Hand wound with precision
● High overload capacity
● Excellent heat dissipation
● Designed to endure even the most demanding applications
● Long service life with minimal maintenance required

This is a great, large 6S motor.

This is a great, large 6S motor which provides 8S power in a lighter 6S package. I’ve installed 4 of these and all worked outstanding.

Leopard motor 6362-10 T

Dear Altitude ordered a 6362-10 T 210 kv ,order no AH39950 , but after installing I noticed it is a 6362 270 kv . Leopard put the wrong motor (270 ) in a 6362-210 box . ( marked on outside of box . ) All else OK Regards Ron Chittenden

Hi, Ron -- very sorry about that. I'll send you an email and we will make it right. Garret @ AH

Leopard 6362 6T 350KV Brushless Motor

This motor replaced a Saito 120 engine on a Top Flite Beechcraft Bonanza V35B AUW 18.5 lbs. T.O. requires approx 75% throttle and level flight / cruise is approx 45-50% depending on wind conditions. On final approach for landing, slightly less is needed with a dirty configuration. It's powered by a 9s system (6s + 3s 5000 mAh) with a 2s 1300 mAh for control surfaces. Flight times are approx 6 -6.5 mins.
This has been a very reliable and efficient motor!

Prop tests

6362-10T
10S-5,000mha battery
APC 18x8e, 39V, 42.5A, 1,550W
APC 18x10e, 37V, 55A, 1,970W
APC 19x8e, 37V, 52A, 1,850W
APC 19x10e, 36V, 64A, 2,400W
APC 20x8e, 36.5V, 56A, 2,100W
APC 20x10e, 35.5V, 71A, 2,400W
These numbers are ballpark.
I used the same charged battery for all testing, using a fully charged battery on 20" props should give more watts.

what is the comparison to a fuel motor? is it a 50 or 60 or larger size?

Altitude Hobbies

It's larger, closer to a Power 110. The 5055 will be around a .46 and the 5065 around a .60. When matching up a motor to a plane, it is best to go off the weight of the plane and rated power output for the motor. For general sport performance, pick a motor that can put out around 125 watts per pound of airplane weight. For 3D performance, go for 150-175W or more. So, if you're model weighs 8 lbs all-up, select a motor that can output 1000W (going for sport performance). If that doesn't make sense, feel free to call or email us
